Privacy Policy
CampusCue keeps school notice work local and reviewable.
This policy describes the current v1 behavior for the CampusCue iOS app and landing site.
Last updated: May 29, 2026
Summary
CampusCue is designed as a local-first iOS app. In v1, the developer does not collect school notice content, does not track users, and does not send notice content to a developer server.
Information used on your device
- Imported notice text, screenshots, images, PDFs, and shared files that you choose to add.
- Extracted fields such as title, notice type, organization, address, phone numbers, links, dates, source quote, category, and summary.
- Saved card display preferences and notification settings that help show what still needs your attention.
On-device processing
CampusCue is built around local extraction and review. Apple-native intelligence may parse notice text when available. Unsupported devices or unavailable runtime features fall back to manual review instead of external AI.
What is not collected by the developer
- No school notice content is sent to a CampusCue developer server in v1.
- No account, analytics profile, advertising ID, or third-party tracking profile is collected by the developer in v1.
- No third-party advertising SDKs are included in the product direction documented for v1.
Permissions
- Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a school notice.
- Photo Library access is used only when you choose screenshots or notice images to import.
- Files and the iOS share sheet are used only when you choose supported documents or images.
- Notifications are used for user-enabled card reminders.
- Calendar and Reminders handoffs happen only after you review an action and choose the handoff. CampusCue does not write automatically.
Purchases
CampusCue Pro is handled through Apple in-app purchase and StoreKit. If payment stays within Apple purchase flow, the developer does not receive your payment card details.
Support messages
If you email support, the message you send and any details you include are used to respond to that request. Avoid sending private school notices unless they are necessary for troubleshooting.
Changes
If CampusCue adds accounts, cloud processing, analytics, crash reporting, external AI, forms, or support uploads later, this policy and App Store privacy answers should be updated before those changes ship.
